Our faux silk fabric has the most wonderful texture and surface finish. It is made from polyester fibers which brings down the price, but it still has the luxurious look of pure silk. On one side you have a matte, textured finished and on the reverse you have a shiny satin finish. Either side can be used as the main side of the fabric, or you could use a combination of the two. It is ideal for sewing into dresses, tops and skirts and is especially popular for prom and weddings.
